Before you use this on a real patient. In Victoria, recording a private conversation without the consent of all parties is an offence under the Surveillance Devices Act 1999. Get verbal consent and document it.

Your audio leaves the device. Both dictation engines are cloud services — the browser engine streams audio to Google, the medical engine streams it to Deepgram. The transcript then goes to Anthropic to generate the note. De-identify before you dictate, and check your practice's policy on third-party processing of health information. This app itself stores nothing on any server.

Every note is a draft. You are the author and you must verify it.
